Nurse Practitioner in Patient Care

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at ECHN. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess and address patient needs.
As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, your role will involve utilizing evidence-based practices to support effective outcomes, demonstrating expertise in various patient demographics, and promoting a positive healthcare environment across multiple hospital settings.
Job Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive assessments and re-assessments of patient conditions and care needs.
- Develop and revise individualized plans of care as indicated by assessment and patient response to treatment.
- Follow the seven medication rights and reduce the potential for medication errors.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding pain management and other healthcare topics.
- Promote quality improvement initiatives related to patient experience, quality, and safety.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; current licensure in the state of Connecticut is also required.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills.
- Flexibility to float between Manchester Memorial and Rockville General Hospitals.
- An estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
