Job Summary:

Norman Regional Health System seeks a skilled Rad Tech Specialist to join our cardiovascular program. This role requires preparation of equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and establishing a sterile environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures
  • Identify and assess patient conditions
  • Establish and maintain a sterile environment
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
  • Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership

Qualifications:

  • Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS certification
  • Previous procedural area experience preferred
  • BLS training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care

Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS certification
  • Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
