A leading investment bank is seeking an experienced Associate to join their Interest Rate Risk Management team in the US. The successful candidate will oversee interest rate risk arising within the firm's US legal entities, collaborating with the Corporate Treasury function.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of the firmwide Interest Rate Risk framework, maintain and enhance stress tests, and monitor various metrics related to Net Interest Income (NII) and Economic Value of Equity (EVE).

The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of experience working in ALM/IRRBB functions, with a strong understanding of NII, EVE, and other interest rate risk metrics. Proficiency in quantitative analysis, familiarity with traded products, and knowledge of US regulations for interest rate risk, balance sheet management, and capital adequacy are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement the Interest Rate Risk framework
  • Maintain and refine stress tests to evaluate the effectiveness of the Interest Rate Risk framework
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to NII and EVE
  • Engage with regulators and lead the firm's regulatory initiatives
  • Perform advanced quantitative analytics, including NII forecasting and deposit studies

Estimated salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
