Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. As a key member of our cardiovascular surgery program, you will be responsible for performing complex cardiac surgeries and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform adult cardiac surgery, including aortic aneurysm surgery, aortic valve surgery, coronary bypass surgery, and minimally invasive heart surgery.
- Diagnose and treat patients with cardiac conditions, including arrhythmia surgery and cardiac assist devices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and meet productivity standards.
- Participate in clinic and network task forces as requested and appropriate.
- Function as an effective clinic team member and adhere to organizational and department-specific safety standards and guidelines.
- Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery or eligibility.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
- Experience in program development and leadership.
- Kentucky licensure.
