We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. As a Renal Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

About the Role:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a hospital setting
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis equipment
  • Deliver nephrology care through hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and apheresis

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
  • One year of experience in intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical surgical (Med Surg) preferred
