The Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services is seeking a highly skilled Clerk III to join our team. As a Clerk III, you will provide administrative and financial support services to our business operations office, including cashier, mail processing, and financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced clerical and financial work, including cashier and mail processing.
  • Coordinate clerical activities, including requesting materials and office supplies, handling and transporting facility documents or mail.
  • Maintain accurate financial files related to billing for services to hospital system patients across the state.
  • Provide training to other employees as needed.
  • Work under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of HHSC rules and facility policies and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
