MRI Imaging Specialist

As an MRI Technologist at Atlantic Health System, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. Using advanced magnetic resonance imaging equipment, you will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Position patients on examining tables and place specified coils close to areas of interest, following protocols requested by radiologists.
Demonstrate the use of microphones that allow patients and technologists to communicate during examinations.
Enter data, such as patient history, anatomical areas to be scanned, and orientation specified, into computer systems.
Key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters and receivers into computer systems.
Observe patients through windows of control rooms and on closed-circuit TV screens to monitor patient safety and comfort.
View images of areas being scanned on video display screens to ensure quality of pictures.
Key in data on keyboards of cameras to photograph images.
Alert staff entering magnet rooms to the danger of wearing or carrying metal around magnets.
Requirements
Associate's Degree in Radiography Program or related field.
MR Certified. BLS.
