Key Responsibilities
  • Frontend Development
    • Design and implement user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks, adhering to best practices and component-based architecture.
    • Develop reusable components and UI libraries to enhance development efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Code Quality
    • Work closely with backend developers to design and implement data fetching and API integration.
    • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code using JavaScript/TypeScript.
    • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Backend Development
    • Design, develop, and maintain microservices using modern technologies, including Typescript and PostgreSQL.
    • Implement RESTful APIs for communication between microservices and the frontend.
    • Collaborate on defining and implementing domain models based on domain-driven design principles.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in frontend and backend development.
    • Proactively identify and address potential technical challenges.
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Possess a passion for building high-quality software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate effectively with other developers, designers, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with IBM Loopback 4 or other similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of domain-driven design principles.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Mocha.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Experience with Nginx as a load balancer and reverse proxy.
  • Experience with Consul for service discovery in a microservices architecture.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
  • Strong understanding of both frontend and backend development principles.
  • Expertise in modern frontend and backend technologies.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Experience with TypeScript or other strongly typed languages.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
