Position Summary: The LearningForce is in search of skilled instructors and training facilitators to conduct courses and training sessions, both for credit and non-credit at State Fair Community College. A teaching certificate is generally not a prerequisite for contract employment with SFCC | The LearningForce.
  • Ensure timely commencement and conclusion of your course sessions.
  • May involve the complete or partial creation of the course, including establishing clear objectives within a designated timeframe.
  • Be thoroughly prepared to lead the course during each session.
  • Demonstrate courtesy and attentiveness to the needs and expectations of SFCC | The LearningForce staff and course participants.
  • Address all informational needs, taking time to respond to inquiries, guiding, or directing students to the appropriate service area.
  • Handle participant complaints effectively, resolving them or forwarding the information to the relevant individual or department.
  • Accountable for the operation and safeguarding of SFCC property.
  • Represent SFCC and The LearningForce with high standards of integrity, quality, and service.
  • Communicate effectively with SFCC and The LearningForce staff.
  • Provide constructive feedback received from course participants in both written and verbal formats.
Required Qualifications:
  • Expert-level knowledge in the relevant subject area.
  • Creative, organized, and enthusiastic.
  • Able to lead and engage participants of various ages.
  • Capable of integrating hands-on activities into the learning experience.
  • Able to facilitate group discussions and interactions.
  • Depending on the course, educational background, industry-specific experience, and certification may be required.
