About the Role:

The State of Montana Department of Administration is seeking a highly organized and communicative professional to join their Architecture & Engineering Division as a Project Manager. This role will involve design-phase management of projects, facilitating collaboration and meetings with various stakeholders, and generating cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide projects from inception to completion, including space planning, programming, cost estimating, and construction documents.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including end-users, agency directors, and consultants.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture and three years of experience in Project Management.
  • Licensed Architect or Engineer, or in the process of becoming professionally licensed.
  • Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Competencies:

  • Principles and practices of architectural and civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering fields.
  • Project administration and contract administration principles.
  • Deliver professional customer service and use interpersonal and communications skills.
