Senior Coating Inspector

KTA-Tator, Inc. is a leading materials engineering firm, recognized for expertise in corrosion protection and asset integrity. Our $40 million enterprise offers a range of services, including coatings, steel, concrete fabrication, and building envelope inspection and testing.

We are seeking experienced Senior Certified Coating Inspectors (NACE CIP Level 3) in the New York, New Jersey, and eastern Pennsylvania region. To be considered, candidates must have:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• AMPP Senior Certified Coatings Inspector (NACE CIP Level 3) certification
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Excellent work ethic, with strong oral and written communication and decision-making skills
• Attention to detail and a customer-focused approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred qualifications include:

• 2-5 years of experience in bridge coatings inspection
• SSPC Lead Paint Removal (C3) certification
• Bridge Coatings Inspector (BCI) Level 1 or 2 certification

Physical requirements include:

• Close, color, distance, and depth vision, with the ability to adjust focus
• Ability to travel extensively and work outside, including in inclement weather
• Climbing, bending, crawling, and working in confined spaces and on uneven terrain
