Job Description

GCI is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Sales Specialist I to join our team. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality customer service and sales support to customers through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Meet and exceed sales and performance goals, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and act upon opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to customers.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of GCI's products and services, as well as industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and product offerings to ensure accurate and effective communication with customers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in customer service and sales preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to work a rotating flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
