Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Banquet Cook to join our culinary team at the Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting exceptional food and beverage experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure that all food is stored, handled, and served in a safe and hygienic manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver exceptional service and meet the needs of our guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an upper-tiered restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management.
