Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team at Kohler's Casa Grande facility. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical controls systems to optimize our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical controls systems for manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and electrical standards
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, providing technical support to ensure plant electrical and controls equipment are operating optimally
  • Collaborate with maintenance team to maintain and update spare parts strategy, recommended preventative maintenance, and frequency for controls equipment
  • Develop and implement plans to mitigate upgrades to equipment electrical controls, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
  • Research and evaluate new and existing processes, operations, and support systems for adaptation and/or improvements needed to manufacture Kohler and Sterling products

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET accredited engineering or engineering technology program
  • 2+ years of experience in developing controls solutions, with a focus on electrical controls systems
  • Experience creating and reading electrical schematic diagrams for manufacturing equipment, as well as experience with PLC controllers and related products
  • Strong knowledge of safety and electrical standards, as well as SQL database systems and programming languages such as.NET / C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.
