Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in a school district. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of 75 students, providing direct therapy and participating in program management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Therapy: Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of 75 students from K-12th grade.
  • ARD Assessments: Conduct Admission, Review, and Dismissal assessments and manage referrals for speech and language services.
  • Evaluations: Perform independent evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • IEP Development: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication goals.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Program Management: Manage and oversee speech and language programs within the school district, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
