Job Title: Travel Nurse RN - Ambulatory Care Specialist
Ambulatory care nurses play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care outside of traditional hospital settings. At ALOIS Healthcare, we are seeking an experienced travel nurse RN to join our team as an Ambulatory Care Specialist.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate nurse who can work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients. As an Ambulatory Care Specialist, you will be responsible for educating patients, performing tests and health monitoring, and providing treatment under the supervision of a physician or advanced practice nurse.
What You Will Do:
- Educate patients on their conditions, medications, and self-care practices.
- Perform routine tests and health monitoring to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Provide treatment and interventions as prescribed by physicians or advanced practice nurses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Supervise and mentor nursing assistants as needed.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer competitive pay packages based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week. Our salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide tax-free stipends and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and continuing education credits.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state where you will be working.
- At least 2 years of experience in ambulatory care nursing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.
