Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Service Representative to join our team at Automotive Parts Headquarters. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your ability to call on customers, provide services, and promote marketing/sales programs.

About the Role

This is a combination sales and counter position that requires strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. You will be responsible for maintaining awareness and knowledge of current sales and sales targets, conducting sales transactions, and completing related reports accurately and on time.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Call on customers per the schedule/strategy created with the Store Manager or other members of the management team
  • Serve retail and wholesale customers to make Auto Value the first call for parts
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of current sales and sales targets
  • Conduct sales transactions with adherence to store/company policies and procedures
  • Complete all related reports accurately and on time
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of related experience and must have a thorough knowledge of the auto parts business and sales approaches
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of desktop computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
