Job Summary:

As a labor and delivery nurse, you will care for women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth.

This includes coaching women throughout the birthing process, monitoring the mother's and baby's vitals, administering medication and managing potential complications that may arise.

You may also be called upon to assist in caesarian sections. You will provide education and guidance to new mothers in regard to recovery and caring for their infants.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for women and newborns during labor and delivery
  • Monitor vital signs and administer medication as needed
  • Assist with caesarian sections and other medical procedures
  • Provide education and guidance to new mothers

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in labor and delivery
  • Active Registered Nurse license
