Senior Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Therapist to join our team as an Adult/Geriatric Speech and Language Rehabilitation Specialist. This is a part-time opportunity to work with clients in their homes, providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing services.

The ideal candidate will have a current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts and at least one year of experience working with adult/geriatric populations. As a key member of our multidisciplinary health care team, you will perform thorough evaluations, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.

• Continually assess and revise the speech therapy care plan, participating with BAYADA clinicians in the multidisciplinary care plan as appropriate.
• Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided, utilizing a touch pad tablet.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.
• At least one year of experience working with adult/geriatric populations.
