Job Summary

Cogent Infotech Corp is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating automated and non-automated bindery equipment, supporting digital printing services, and ensuring the timely and accurate production of high-quality documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate bindery equipment to produce consistent quality documents to customer specifications.
  • Perform material handling duties, including final quality control checks, boxing, packaging, and labeling customer orders.
  • Read and interpret job tickets, with a focus on bindery, finishing, large format, and shipping operations.
  • Scan work in the order management system to ensure required control points have been completed and accountability opportunities are captured.
  • Maintain organizational compliance within the production workplace and communicate machine service breakdowns and maintenance needs to leadership.
  • Perform routine daily machine maintenance and equipment calibration as specified by RPC Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide support to Production Specialists, including digital print paper replenishment, output offloading, and bay materials support.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member in a professional environment.
  • Sound judgment and ability to plan, prioritize, and implement detailed instructions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Effective communication and listening skills, with the ability to analyze customer and employee needs.
  • Ability to learn new information and processes within company guidelines.
  • Skills to effectively multi-task and utilize time management.
