Job Summary

Cope Community Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide client supervision and care, facilitating daily milieu programs and services. This is a safety-sensitive position, and we require a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities
  • Provide client supervision and care, including checking on patients throughout the night and assisting with intakes and documentation.
  • Observe patients taking medications, clean, complete temperature logs, and chart audits.
  • Prepare breakfast and facilitate daily activities, such as mealtime, personal hygiene, educational groups, and activity therapy.
  • Read and implement client treatment plans, providing positive cues, redirection, and reinforcement.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED, with a minimum of $16.00/hour.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's or master's degree, no experience necessary, or Associate's degree plus one year of behavioral health work experience.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and a clean driving record.
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age and pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
