The Packaging Equipment Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. As a key member of the production team, this individual is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment to meet quality specifications and productivity targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain equipment to ensure consistent production quality and efficiency
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Coordinate with team members, supervision, and maintenance to resolve equipment issues and improve production processes
  • Ensure accurate labeling and identification of materials, raw, WIP, and finished goods
  • Perform quality checks and operate testing equipment as needed


Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6-months related machine operation experience and/or training
  • Self-motivated, strong team player with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues


Work Environment:

The Packaging Equipment Operator will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to fumes, heat, and dust. The noise level can be high when working in the manufacturing areas, and personal protective equipment may be required.
