Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Novant Health Ballantyne Pediatrics clinic. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our healthcare practice.

Responsibilities
  • Perform various office and clinical duties to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Work directly with healthcare staff to collect test samples, maintain patient records, and explain common medical procedures to patients.
  • Assist in basic examinations and provide support to patients during their visits.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program with an externship in a clinical setting.
  • Current certification as CMA, RMA, or CCMA; must be obtained by the last day of the six month of hire.
  • Previous work experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $55,000 per year
