Front Desk Agent Job Description

As a Front Desk Agent at Shaner Hotels, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling guest complaints, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and professional service to hotel guests, including check-in and check-out.
  • Handle guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
  • Generate and distribute daily reports to designated departments.
  • Responsible for resolving discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions.
