We are seeking a dedicated Developmental Care Coordinator to join our team at Soar Autism Center in Westminster, Colorado.

About the Role

This is an entry-level position that requires minimal prior certification. We provide comprehensive training for this role, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel as a Child Autism Specialist. As a Developmental Care Coordinator, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of experts, including Board-Certified Behavior Analysts, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developmental Support: Provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children aged 2-6 in a clinic environment, utilizing evidence-based naturalistic therapeutic methods.
  • Intervention Planning: Implement intervention plans crafted by expert clinicians in behavior analysis, speech, and occupational therapy.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the child's healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the growth and development of young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our team is committed to delivering exceptional care, and we prioritize early intervention and supportive learning environments.

Requirements
  • Prior Experience: Previous experience working with children aged 2-6 is preferred, but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with families and healthcare teams.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using computers and tablets is necessary for record-keeping and communication.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation to both training location and local center is mandatory.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to engage with clients is required.
