Job Overview

The Rockridge Group seeks a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join their team. This role is responsible for the verification, preparation, and input of information into the Ceridian Dayforce system for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Verify master file changes such as new hires, terminations, salary changes, etc. that are fed into the Ceridian Dayforce payroll system.
  • Timesheet Review: Review calculated timesheets to identify errors and input quick entries as necessary.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve employee payroll-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Union Payments: Process union payments such as Health & Welfare and Pension on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Employee Support: Assist managers and employees with timesheet and Time Away From Work questions.
Additional Functions:
  • Support and exhibit behavior consistent with The Rockridge Group's sales and service philosophy.
  • Act with diplomacy as a representative of the Accounting Department.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of three to five years of payroll experience is required.
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is necessary.
  • Union experience is preferable.
  • Intermediate skills with Windows software such as Word, Excel, etc. are required.
  • Familiarity with general ledger is a must.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential, both written and oral.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Work independently with some supervision.
  • Maintain highly confidential data.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
