About the Role:

Dignity Health Medical Foundation is seeking a skilled Surgical Advice Nurse to join our team at the Chemotherapy Infusion clinic. As a Surgical Advice Nurse, you will perform patient assessments, provide direct patient care, and administer treatments and medications in an infusion capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Documenting assessments, observations, and interventions
  • Maintaining equipment, supplies, and initiating and maintaining IV therapy
  • Providing education to patients and their caregivers on various self-administered treatments and procedures
  • Triage messages and providing advice to patients and their families
  • Working with clinicians to review treatment plans and medication issues

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Clear and current CA RN license
  • Current BLS through American Heart Association
  • ONS certificate or ONS/ONCC certificate
