We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Staff Assistant to join our team at a prestigious University in Cambridge. This 3-month role offers an attractive salary range of $25-$28 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the department and associated programs, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries from potential customers, participants, academic collaborators, and other stakeholders. Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining records, reports, budgets, and plans, as well as managing Outlook, emails, and calendars.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional administrative support to ensure seamless operations within the department.
  • Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries, leveraging excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Maintain records, reports, and budget plans with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Manage Outlook, emails, and calendars efficiently, ensuring smooth scheduling and meeting planning.
  • Utilize MS Office proficiently to enhance productivity and task completion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; relevant work experience preferred.
  • Expertise in MS Office applications.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience working in an academic setting is highly valued.
