RN - Medical Surgical Unit Care Professional

Providence Newberg Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Surgical department. As a valued member of our care team, you will have the opportunity to deliver world-class healthcare with compassion and empathy.
About the Role:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary between $41.74 and $60.25 per hour, based on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off, you will also be eligible for shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, and overtime opportunities.
About the Team:
Our award-winning medical center provides a range of services, including cancer, cardiology, neurosciences, orthopedics, women's services, emergency and trauma care, pediatrics, and neonatal intensive care. Our not-for-profit network also includes outpatient health centers, physician groups, clinics, outreach programs, hospice, and home care services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care, promoting recovery, comfort, and well-being
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and manage medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure informed decision-making
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices
Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association
- At least one year of RN experience
