Position Overview

Salary Range: The salary for this position is commensurate with experience and at varying percentages of time, depending on the number and nature of courses assigned.

Position Description

The Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing at UC Irvine is seeking dynamic and collaborative educators to teach Primary Care Women's Health and Primary Care Obstetrics in the Doctor of Nursing Practice- Family Nurse Practitioner Program.

Candidates are required to have previous experience teaching these courses and/or similar courses in the University of California system and/or an equivalent education setting.

The minimum requirements are a DNP or PhD in an applicable field with clinical experience appropriate to the course (women's health and/or obstetrics) and teaching experience at the college level.

About the Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing

The Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing is leading the way in nursing education, with a focus on inclusive excellence and preparing nurse scholars who advance the science that guides practice.

The School offers a range of academic programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science, a Master of Science in Nursing Science, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, with or without a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration (DNP-FNP); and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing Science.

The School is part of the College of Health Sciences, which includes a School of Medicine, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science, and Programs in Public Health.
