About the Role:
As a Sous Chef at Naked Farmer Careers, you will play a crucial part in driving culinary excellence throughout our scratch-based kitchens. With a passion for cooking and a willingness to learn, you will be instrumental in perfecting your craft and mentoring others to achieve the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead your team with enthusiasm and confidence, ensuring seamless execution of recipes and processes.
- Mentor and develop the skills of your team members, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
- Coordinate prep lists, waste logs, and inventory management to maintain a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring a smooth and organized shift.
- Address guest concerns with creative solutions, maintaining a positive and empathetic demeanor.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong culinary abilities, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A strong work ethic and ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
