Dietitian Specialist

Career Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Carespring Healthcare Management. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the best possible resident care through clinical nutrition management.

Responsibilities:

Perform clinical assessments to identify resident nutritional needs
Update patient care plans and complete MDS related sections
Maintain a working knowledge of the Medicare PDPM system to ensure accurate patient care
Document information in the facility electronic medical record (PointClickCare)
Collaborate with the chef and dietary department to promote optimal food service
Attend meal services to address meal service issues
Complete meal rounds to monitor resident intake
Assist with food service inservice training as needed
Help maintain dietary cost control by balancing nutritional care with supplement usage

Requirements:

Current Dietitian License in good standing for the state of Ohio
Effective time management skills
Reliable attendance
Ability to function independently while building rapport with other disciplines
