We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Firelands Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and patient-centered organization.
About the Role- This RN position is responsible for implementing the nursing process with patients, including carrying out physicians orders regarding diet, medication, and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
- The ideal candidate will perform assessments, monitor, and ensure quality care through observation and evaluation, documenting nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and reporting findings to physicians as needed.
- Instruct patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans, and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
- Respond to emergencies; maintain availability of medications and supplies; ensure cleanliness of equipment and environment.
- A current Ohio RN license is required prior to patient care experience.
- Current ACLS and Basic EKG certification are also required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.
