Public Health Nurse 2 Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Nurse to join our team at the State of Alaska. As a Public Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing essential services to individuals, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide public health nursing services to clients with suspected sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or who are contacts of individuals with STIs.
- Participate in epidemiological and environmental disease investigations and follow-up.
- Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent disease.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Eligibility for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university or Direct Entry Master of Science (MSN) in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Alaska Registered Nursing License.
- Valid driver's license.
- CPR Certification.
