Job Summary

The University of Washington is seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Specialist to join their team in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. This role will be responsible for managing the department's facilities, assets, and space, ensuring compliance with University, State, and Federal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the department's facilities, assets, and space, ensuring compliance with University, State, and Federal guidelines.
Coordinate department renovations, ensuring that the Department meets all standards set by the University and State.
Participate in department or other relevant safety committees.
Represent the Department and/or act as liaison in departmental interests wherever appropriate.
Direct the department's efforts to manage assets and ensure compliance with the School of Medicine and Upper Campus equipment management office.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or other related field.
Four years of combined experience in lead role, asset management, project/program management, and facilities management.
Experience with Oasis and GeoSIMS is highly desirable.

Working Conditions

This position will require working in other departmental locations to meet patient service requirements and may involve working weekends and off-hours.
