Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the operating room, including setting up and cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic technique during procedures.
  • Document patient care records and other forms according to facility policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other members of the OR team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED certification.
  • Surgical technician course.
  • Two years previous Operating Room experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
