Job Summary
We seek an experienced Hospice STNA to join our team in Cleveland. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and provide top-notch patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care according to the Aide Plan of Care and Agency policy.
- Assist patients with safe transfers and ambulation per Agency policy.
- Report changes and document pertinent information and care rendered to patients/clients.
- Promote positive, supportive, respectful communication to patients, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to efficient Agency operations and demonstrate effective time management skills.
- Perform treatments and procedures according to Agency policy.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Have a current driver's license.
- Hold a High School Diploma (preferred).
- Have at least one year of experience as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, or home health agency.
- Demonstrate interest in the welfare of the ill and elderly.
- Pass a competency evaluation program that meets State and Federal requirements.
- Have proof of current CPR certification.

Working Conditions
You will work in patients' homes, sometimes in various conditions, and may be exposed to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases. Reliable transportation is required, along with valid and current auto liability insurance.
