Job Description

 

We are seeking an experienced Contract Analyst to join our team at Prism Biotech. As a key member of our Budgets and Contracts management, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and negotiating contracts with pharmaceutical sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze clinical trial agreements, contract amendments, confidentiality agreements, and nondisclosure agreements from pharmaceutical sponsors or contract research organizations.
  • Collaborate with clinics, physician groups, hospitals, and other patient treatment facilities represented by Sarah Cannon to ensure their interests are clearly identified.
  • Negotiate with contracting parties to ensure understanding of all parties and progress toward resolving issues.
  • Revise contracts to include and track changes.
  • Keep Budgets & Contracts management informed of contract issues, negotiation breakdowns, and contract timing, escalating matters that require higher-level involvement.
  • Update statuses in the designated tracking database regularly.
  • Coordinate with Budget Analysts to ensure budgets are completed before contract execution.
  • Respond promptly to questions from Budgets & Contracts management for approval of contracts before execution.
  • Assist various levels of management and executives with contract-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on contract negotiations and timelines.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency, timely contract execution, and quality, and implement ideas with a positive impact.
  • Participate in departmental and cross-functional meetings.
  • Complete other assigned duties and projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in contract language, preferably in a healthcare research setting.
  • Proven negotiation strategies with successful outcomes.
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and attention to detail.
  • In-depth understanding of complex contractual language.
  • Strong adaptability and problem-solving abilities.

The estimated salary for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location.
