Respiratory Therapist Instructor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Respiratory Therapy Instructor to join our team at HCC. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Respiratory Therapy program, as well as contributing to the development of curriculum and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Respiratory Therapy courses to students at various levels of academic progression
- Develop and implement curriculum and assessments that align with program goals and industry standards
- Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development
- Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and initiatives
- Stay current with developments in the field of Respiratory Therapy and incorporate best practices into teaching and curriculum development
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Respiratory Therapy at the college level
- Strong knowledge of Respiratory Therapy principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
