Administrative Support Professional

The Monarch School and Institute is a leading institution dedicated to providing innovative, therapeutic education for individuals with neurological differences. We strive to empower students to progress in four core goal areas.
As an Administrative Substitute, you will report to the HR/Office Manager and support the administrative needs of The Monarch School while substituting for a faculty member. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain an organized and efficient office environment, including managing incoming calls, directing visitors/parents, and overseeing office supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Office Management: Ensure the office operates smoothly by managing tasks, maintaining records, and ensuring all necessary resources are available.
- Data Entry: Accurately input and update information into databases, spreadsheets, and other digital systems as required.
- Document Handling: Sort, file, scan, and photocopy documents as needed to ensure proper record keeping.
- Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional assistance to visitors, parents, students, and staff members, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Assistance with Projects: Collaborate with department teams to support ongoing projects, including research, data collection, and presentation preparation.
To excel in this role, you should possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a professional demeanor and customer service orientation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to different teams and tasks, is also crucial.
This is an on-call, temporary position based on the organization's needs. Work hours may vary based on assignment and will typically align with regular school business hours. The role may involve prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and using a computer.
Compensation: $115/day (with degree) or $85/day (no degree)
