About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Program Manager to join our AIML team at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading project management of the design and implementation of quality and release practices focused in AIML.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and drive early engagements on product quality, process definition, and program execution.
  • Collaborate with all partner organizations relevant for a project.
  • Communicate clear, timely, and objective communication, including regular program status updates and critical issues as needed to executive team.
  • Coordinate discussions and break down complex issues into discussion topics to drive engineering and design alignment with support from project team.
  • Create and manage project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path, and systematic methodology to communicate status.
  • Manage risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant.
  • Drive alignment across the organization and between teams.
  • Execute on time delivery and deployment, identifying development and feasibility needs, establishing achievements for checkpoints and status updates.
  • Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources necessary to attack and resolve.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering project or program management.
  • Excellent project management skills including project structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently.
  • Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives.
  • Ability to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations, and communication strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering project or program management.
  • Superior group facilitation and influence skills.
  • Detailed understanding of testing, build, and release processes for sophisticated software.
  • Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, including mentoring, team-building, and conflict resolution.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
