Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Controls Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Tindells, Inc. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong electro-mechanical aptitude and experience in maintaining industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production, warehouse, facility, and plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues using multi-meters, amp meters, and ohmmeters.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
  • Complete inspections, create work orders, and perform electrical tests and inspections as needed.
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild defective parts while maintaining MRO inventory.
  • Test, calibrate, and configure electrical control equipment, instrumentation, components, and systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, encoders, drive boards, and other critical components.
  • Set up and operate metalworking machines to manufacture and repair parts as needed.
  • Implement Predictive and Preventative Maintenance Programs for all production and support equipment.
  • Utilize computer devices to create and close Work Orders with accurate data.
  • Contribute to product/quality/process improvement efforts by recommending ideas and changes to business processes, procedures, materials, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • An Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A strong understanding of electricity, electro-mechanical aptitude, and basic machine shop skills.
  • Experience working with 3-Phase 480v systems and ability to read schematics.
  • Strong computer skills, including networking knowledge.
  • A high level of safety awareness and good safety habits.
