Job Title: Staff Accountant

At Silver Hill Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
  • Perform general cost accounting and other related duties to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconcile accounts, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks.
  • Manage accounts receivable collections and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Provide assistance to outside auditors and gather necessary account information and documents.
  • File tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
  • Coordinate with software vendors to maintain accounting software systems and recommend updates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least three years of related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of Sage Accounting Software.
