We are seeking a skilled CDL Delivery Driver to join our team at Dakota Supply Group in Fargo, ND. In this full-time, hourly position, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers and jobsites, including loading, unloading, securing, and transporting materials.

Job Overview

The CDL Delivery Driver role requires a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with current medical card. You will work closely with warehouse associates to communicate how product should be loaded and ensure that the delivery truck is in good working order. Additionally, you will need to inspect the truck and trailer according to company policy and DOT standards, and immediately communicate any vehicle safety and/or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading materials from the delivery truck
  • Communicating with customers regarding delivery dates and times
  • Driving to various customer locations within 150 miles of the branch location
  • Unloading materials at customers' places of business and/or warehouses
  • Staying compliant with DOT/FMCSA and OSHA regulations

You will also be responsible for assisting in all aspects of warehouse operations when not out on delivery, including accurately pulling product to fill orders in a timely manner, packing, labeling, and putting filled orders in proper locations for delivery.

Requirements:
  • A valid Class A or B CDL with current medical card, or the immediate eligibility to obtain a medical card
  • Basic product and warehouse/delivery knowledge normally acquired in one to three years of applicable experience
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively to work efficiently under pressure and time deadlines

In addition to your skills and qualifications, we offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision, as well as paid time off and extended medical leave allowances.
