Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at Health Images. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and providers, ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint.
  • Manage patient registration, including checking in and out patients, collecting co-pays, and verifying insurance coverage.
  • Respond to inbound calls, resolve patient and provider complaints, and communicate with the PSR Lead and/or Area Manager as needed.
  • Ensure accurate data entry for patient registration and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Assist with medical records, manage eRIS Center workflow, and stay abreast of carrier-related issues.
  • Monitor schedules, reschedule and cancel appointments as needed, and facilitate no-show appointments.
  • Request orders, process new and same-day requests, and request patients to complete satisfaction surveys.
Requirements
  • One plus year of experience providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare environment.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a problem solver with strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment and continuously exceed company and customer expectations.
