Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced NICU Nurse Professional to join our team at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

About the Role

This full-time position involves working nights in our NICU team, providing exceptional care to patients and their families. As an Advanced NICU Nurse Professional, you will be responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. You may be required to float to other units and participate in on-call status.

This role requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals. You will be expected to supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and reassessment of patients
  • Development of individualized plans of care
  • Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions
  • Evaluation of patient care outcomes

You will also provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or a multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state. A current BLS certification is also required upon hire, or completion within 30 days of hire.

You must be able to communicate effectively in English and possess department-specific competencies completed during the orientation process.
