Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Accounts Payable, including team management and process optimization.
  • Review and resolve open items on Accounts Payable reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Accounts Payable and expense reimbursement processes in the Business System.
  • Perform month-end closing activities according to the published schedule.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for all accounting areas as required.
  • Manage lease accounting, including lease queries and GAAP compliance.
  • Analyze balance sheets, income statements, and expense accounts, and reconcile differences.
  • Perform monthly intercompany invoicing and reconcile intercompany month-end balances.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of US employee benefits and investigate variances.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of all US and Canadian bank accounts.
  • Weekly payroll funding posting and reconciliation of related general ledger accounts.
  • Weekly posting of hourly labor charge-outs to projects.
  • Process supplier invoices for Corporate on a timely basis, matching to PO and other supporting documentation.
  • Process Corporate employee expense reports on a timely basis.
  • Submit approved supplier invoices for payment to Corporate Treasury based on agreed-upon pay terms.
  • Research and resolve supplier inquiries, communicating resolutions to appropriate persons as required.
  • Maintain corporate petty cash account, tracking and coding all approved outgoing disbursements.
  • Enter new suppliers in the company ERP system and tools upon approval from Purchasing.
  • Assist with external audit and liaison between auditors and plant controllers.
  • Recommend, lead, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with maintaining financial systems and ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory authorities.
  • Perform recurring and ad-hoc reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA a plus.
  • 2+ years of progressive financial experience in a global manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Month-end closing process experience in a multi-plant, multi-currency environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
  • Attention to accuracy and detail required.

Travel:
