Furniture Restoration Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Restoration Craftsman to join our team at Dufresne Spencer Group, LLC. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our company.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience

As a Furniture Restoration Craftsman, you will be responsible for repairing and refinishing furniture to new condition in the allotted time frame. You will complete upholstery repair including mechanism replacement, determine if furniture is repairable or if it must be replaced, and report any incomplete or problem service calls to the Guest Response Team.

You will also record completed repairs and any further repairs needed and/or parts that need to be ordered onto the service call ticket, notify the Guest Response Team and DC Manager of repeated item issues, and complete weekly vehicle maintenance logs.

In addition, you will maintain a clean and organized shop area/service truck, assist with various warehouse tasks as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 1-2 years of practical work experience in furniture restoration, including upholstery, leather repairs, and wood refinishing
• Able to communicate effectively and work independently
• Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs
