Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work closely with our surgeons to evaluate pre-operative and post-operative spine surgery patients in the clinic and hospital settings, as well as first assist in the operating room.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage pre-operative and post-operative spine surgery patients in the clinic and hospital settings.
  • First assist in the operating room during spine surgeries.
  • Obtain patient history and perform assessments, ordering and performing diagnostic procedures as needed.
  • Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions, documenting patient interactions and outcomes.
  • Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers on preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
  • Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations, and care.

Requirements:

  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board.
  • Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a related field preferred.
