Data Architecture/Security Expert

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data protection strategies to ensure confidentiality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architectures that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories to support data governance and compliance.
  • Ensure data security and compliance by implementing data encryption, access controls, and auditing mechanisms.
  • Develop and implement data quality and data validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain data architecture documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and security.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in data architecture, data governance, and data security.
  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes.
  • Proficiency in data governance frameworks, data quality tools, and data security technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Understanding of data encryption, access controls, and auditing mechanisms.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
